Boston Antifa is–and has been–a parody account since its inception. However, once the satirical Twitter account geo-tagged itself as originating from Vladivostok, Russia, the world went mad–Senator James Lankord of Oklahoma declared it a Russian operative and MSNBC reported it as a scoop, providing proof of Russian interference at the highest levels.
Twitter suspended the account but it quickly reopened.
The linked parody accounts were hiding in plain sight. It seems as though no matter what they did, some people just didn’t get the joke–people never stopped to look and see that it wasn’t logical that an Antifa group would be associated with Maralago, or Pyongyang, or the Amish community, or Starfleet…
