Joel Osteen has made a vocation, and an opulent living, lying
about the God of the Bible his whole ‘career’. He preaches
Christ in pretense – using religious sounding words as a thin
veil to cover a hellish casserole of prosperity doctrine, new
age self-help, armchair psychology and daily affirmations. He
has preached false doctrine to literally millions of people the
world over, greedily filling the void of feel-good, phony TV and
radio evangelism caused by Billy Graham’s slowing money
machine – thereby making him one of the chief workers of
iniquity of this generation. “The foolish shall not stand in thy
sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity” (Ps. 5:5) – “Beware
of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves” (Mt. 7:15).
Joel Osteen’s popularity and influence has as much to say about those who generally call themselves ‘Christians’ as it says about his own motives: they actually love his lies: “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables” (2Ti. 4:3-4)
“That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits” (Is. 30:9-10)
To widen his appeal even further (and to embolden rebellion against Christ), Osteen trots out his Jezebellian wife Victoria and props her up in the pulpit, in callous defiance of the Scripture – calling her a ‘preacher’ and a ‘pastor’ and winking as she multiplies the lies: “But I suffer not a woman to
teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence” (1Ti. 2:12) – “Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed
unto idols” (Rev. 2:20).
The word of God is not to be handled deceitfully – it is not to be made merchandise of. Joel and Victoria love and make lies that their followers also love – and none of them have a hope of heaven, unless the Lord works in their hearts: “For without (outside of Heaven) are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and
whosoever loveth and maketh a lie” (Rev. 22:15) – “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me” (Mt. 15:8).
Lord willing, these, amongst other biblically-sound ideas, will be preached on the street prior to this event!
REPENT AND BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!
