Normally, I refrain from commenting on Facebook when I do not know the person. But… this weekend I was looking up details on the PRIDE Parade in my city and just happened to run across this comment by a person I have named DUMBO. (I am identified as ME and others are identified as RATIONAL PEOPLE.) Please not DUMBO actually uses the word SCIENCE as part of his argument.

Oh we’re normalizing mental illnesses now? Disgusting.

This is the 36th year of the parade, so I’d say you’re a bit behind the times on the normalization.

please keep your comments to yourself if theyre going to be negative. its about equality. its not a mental illness. the whole festival was filled with love just like the LGBTQ community. it saddens me that you choose to fight the movent instead of get behind it. everyone deserves to be loved.

The lgbtqrstuvwxyz is filled with hateful freaks that care about equality only at their expense. “The movent” is immoral and not a good story for the future but will be a good life lesson.

it’s beautiful just the way it was. Not changing street names and having a whole month in honor of what we used to call mental disorders. Love is nothing of what it used to be you know the sacred bond between a MAN and a WOMAN. To “love” today is to forfeit your life away from science and god. The LGBT loves everyone that agrees with them and their delusions (of course) hearing what they want to hear. Your life choices and support is disgusting.

It is a type of logic which does not open itself to new ideas because the belief system he has is impenetrable and not open to new information–even in the face of science–so I will refrain from commenting any further as well.
