Facebook has a “Jonnie Marbles Cream Faced Murdoch CLUB” which memorializes the time in 2011 when Rupert Murdoch as attacked by Marbles, a comedian, with a foamy white pie. Murdoch’s wife, Wendi Deng Murdoch, hopped up and deflected the pie, saving the day. Marbles was arrested and had to do a short stint in jail. PROVIDENCE – A Johnston, R.I., rapper whose songs include “Sell Drugz,” “Feds Watching” and “All White,”  was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Providence to 36 months in federal prison for trafficking heroin and fentanyl.

Michael Persaud, aka “Montana Millz,” 30, also faces sentencing in Lebanon County, Pa., having been convicted at trial in August 2017 on 16 of 23 heroin trafficking, conspiracy and other drug trafficking related charges brought as a result of an investigation into his drug trafficking activities in Pennsylvania.

The U.S. Sentencing Guidelines range of imprisonment in this matter is 78-97 months. The government recommended the Court impose a sentence of 78 months in prison. Persaud pleaded guilty on October 23, 2017, to five counts of distribution of fentanyl, and one count each of possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl and distribution of heroin.

According to information presented to the Court, during a 4 ½ month period of time beginning in October 2016, an East Providence undercover detective arranged for several purchases of heroin and fentanyl from Persaud. In total, nearly 22 grams of fentanyl and 2 grams of heroin were delivered to the detective. In several instances, Persaud used other individuals to assist in the delivery of the drugs. In at least two such instances, Persaud was driven by his girlfriend and mother of three of his children to deliver fentanyl to the undercover detective.

On March 30, 2017, members of the East Providence Police Department, with the assistance of the RI DEA Drug Task Force, executed a court-authorized search of the Providence residence of the mother of one of Michael Persaud’s children. Law enforcement seized 44 grams of fentanyl hidden in the residence by Persaud.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ly T. Chin and Ronald R. Gendron.

The Pink P*ssy Hats represent a very concentrated and thus, exclusionary sect of feminism that ignores, neglects, and ultimately harms the fight for global women’s liberation. The entire concept is based around the idea of biological essentialism and shared womanhood (Mia McKenzie, Black Girl Dangerous): two incorrect ideas that women are all on the same level despite conflicting classes, races, sexualities, etc. and are also bound by “the power of the vagina”. This is a very popular concept developed and expanded upon during the second wave of feminism, usually called “radical feminism”. This type of feminism, though hugely successful in terms of reproductive justice, ultimately emphasized a mistreatment of transgender women that continues today. Though some transgender women do choose to have Genital Reconstruction Surgery, many do not, and should not have to to prove their being a woman. The right to self-determination, a concept that all feminists must get behind, allows transgender women to be women. Thus, not every woman has a vagina, and with the right to self-determination existing for transgender men and non-binary transgender people as well, not every person who has a vagina is a woman. The Pink P*ssy Hat reinforces the notion that woman = vagina and vagina = woman, and both of these are incorrect. Additionally, the Pink P*ssy Hat is white-focused and Eurocentric in that it assumes that all vaginas are pink; this is also an incorrect assertion.

The Pensacola Women’s March organizers understand that this idea was a knee-jerk reaction to the heinous, sexist, misogynistic Trump administration, but it is also just that: a knee-jerk reaction, not fully thought out. Therefore, we ask that march goers refrain from wearing this hat and instead, pick an alternative headwear that focuses on collective women’s liberation for ALL women: transgender women, multinational women, disabled women, queer women — the most marginalized. It is only through the centering and leadership of these groups that women will be liberated — not through exclusionary white feminism, which the Pink P*ssy Hat is indicative of.

The Pensacola Women’s March team will be removing all forms of hate speech that they encounter in an effort to promote a safer environment for all women.

Rhesus macaques are the most frequently used nonhuman primate species in biomedical research. In laboratory settings, rhesus macaques are considered an occupational health threat because they harbor macacine herpesvirus 1 (McHV-1), also known as herpes B virus. Although McHV-1 infection does not produce clinical illness in macaques, about 70% of infections in people are fatal if not treated with antiviral medications. Transmission has typically occurred through exposure to macaque bodily fluids as a result of bites and scratches. Outside of the laboratory setting, little is known about the risk for transmission or the incidence of human disease resulting from McHV-1 exposure. No human deaths have been reported from contracting McHV-1 from free-ranging macaques, suggesting the risk for transmission from these animals is low; however, there has been little research on the subject. During 2015–2016, researchers collected saliva and fecal samples from the free-ranging rhesus macaques of Silver Springs State Park, a popular public park in central Florida, United States, to determine the risk for transmission of the virus to people. The researchers concluded that these free-ranging macaques can shed the virus, putting people at risk for exposure to this potentially fatal pathogen. In light of their findings, the researchers recommend that management plans be put in place to limit transmission of McHV-1 from these macaques.

Oklahoma man found in classroom wearing loincloth & trash bag

An Oklahoma man entered classroom fully clothed during the wee hours of January 4. Later that morning, as teacher Kydel Billy arrived to open his room for the school day, he discovered Dalton Earhart, a former student at the school, dressed only in a self-fashioned loincloth with a trash bag over his head, perhaps intending to wear the bag as a shirt.

Police arrived and escorted the man from the building. Earhart had stuck a few items taken from the room into his loincloth and torn down a few classroom decorations, but other than that, no one was harmed.

Fortunately, he was escorted off the property before children were present to witness the odd scene. Earhart was suspected to be under the influence of drugs and is now awaiting arraignment in a local jail.

World’s Most Expensive Vodka Bottle Recovered Empty But Intact

A high-value vodka that was stolen from a bar in Copenhagen earlier this week has been found at a construction site on the outskirts of the city – with its contents emptied. The bottle itself is intact and will be examined by police.

The stolen Russo Baltique vodka, reportedly the only one of its kind and worth eight million kroner (1.1 million euros), was found by a private citizen, Copenhagen Police confirmed on Twitter.

Denmark’s TV2 said the bottle of Russo Baltique is made of 3 kilograms (6.6. pounds) of gold and the equivalent amount of silver with a diamond-encrusted cap.
